2025 Serpentine Club Championship Races

We’re pleased to announce the schedule for the 2025 Club Championships, offering a variety of distances and disciplines to test your fitness and represent the club.

Here’s a rundown of the upcoming championship races:

  • Marathon: Compete in any certified marathon (not downhill) throughout the year before the club Christmas Party – Results so far.
  • Half Marathon: Complete any certified half marathon (not downhill) throughout the year before the club Christmas Party – Results so far.
  • 5k Road – Tuesday, June 10th in the Sri Chinmoy 5k at Battersea Park. Please note that self-entry is required for this event, and the entry fee is £9 here: https://www.eventrac.co.uk/e/sri-chinmoy-5k-races-in-battersea-park-6961
  • 3000m – Tuesday, July 8th at Paddington Track. Entry for this event is free, but registration is required here: https://forms.gle/4bePUPV7aw2YjCTo6
  • 1k Road – Saturday, July 19th on a shorter, downhill course in Hyde Park. Entry for this event is free, but registration is required here: https://forms.gle/WU5nUkphUx3rvnRa9
  • Mile – Tuesday, July 22nd at Paddington Track. Entry is free, but registration is required here: https://forms.gle/1iNP4LpMUZJzDXtx9
  • 10k Road – TBC. The date for the Middlesex 10k Championships is to be confirmed. It is usually late September or early October. Please keep an eye out for further announcements regarding the specific date and entry requirements.
  • 10 Mile Road – Sunday, October 19th at the Cabbage Patch 10. Entry will be required for this popular event. https://cabbagepatch10.com/

We encourage all members to participate in as many of these events as possible. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply want to enjoy the camaraderie of racing and celebrating with your clubmates, the Club Championships are a fantastic way to get involved. For events where entry is required, please ensure you register in advance. We will send reminders for individual events closer to the time, and for public event remind you when entries open. Note that public races could sell out.
