This was the 10th year of this LDWA challenge event with a circular route from Barton-Le-Clay, Bedfordshire. A decent route (and fairly easy-to-follow description) over the surrounding countryside across fields (very muddy fields) with a couple of small hills providing some pretty scenery and a couple of nice wooded sections. Five checkpoints on the 26M were well timed and stocked - especially the final 'tea-time' stop with scones and cake in a church hall (this was rather hard to leave once the rain set in…). Recommended.
