I just got back from a lovely day out running around the park of Blenheim Palace. The fine weather helped, of course, but it's a nice course, mildly undulating with one medium-sized climb. About 500 runners, very well organised by the local Rotary club. Parking, start and finish all close together. All in all a nice example of the smaller community-type race. £8 entry (£10 on the day), no swag.

Takes about 75 minutes to drive there from West London and there are lots of great village pubs in the surrounding area for lunch afterward.
