Report
15 Serpies journeyed to the Wye Valley to take part: we bagged the women's team prize thanks to Marielle, Poppy and Rachel. Alan Hall was our first runner home in an impressive 01:32:31 - he came 11th. The race was as well organised as ever but due to sabotaged signage a large group of runners, several of them ours, took a detour which added extra distance. Worse, it was downhill...so they had to go back up. Disappointing for those who would otherwise have got a significantly better time, but overall it was a great experience and we hope to make our attendance there something of a Serpie tradition. For the second year in a row we have had the largest number of entrants and have taken at least one prize. If you're tempted by the thought of one of the most scenic trail races in the UK and a small field of entrants keeping pre and post race hassle to a minimum, plus a friendly atmosphere, put it in your diary for next year.
