It was (thankfully) dry and sunny and actually a wonderfully scenic race. Very well organised and marshalled - even though it was their first attempt at this sort of race. Very enjoyable, except perhaps for the uphill finish - especially as we were expecting a
downhill finish (they adjusted the final bits of the main loop for the
2nd lap, which I'm sure was advertised but we hadn't picked up on!)
