Report

Third race in the 'Marathon Tour of the Fylde' race series. After 4 races in 4 days (26 miles), Emma Calderbank was the overall winner of the women's Tour based on cumulative times from all four races.

3-lap course around playing fields and grassland, closer to 5 miles than 6 but certainly not an easy race on the third consecutive day of hard running, with warm weather, a winding course, uneven surface, mild undulations, and obstacles in the form of small dogs and lapping slower runners. Emma moved into the lead for the overall women's Tour with her first outright race win.
