Report

An undulating rural half marathon guaranteeing a fast field as it features the Yorkshire Half Marathon Championships. This was a well-organised race with good facilities at the start and finish. However, it was let down by being the quietest race I have ever run. With absolutely no banter between the runners and completely silent marshalls and bystanders, I began to wonder if I had missed the note in the instructions that this was a Trappist event! Perhaps the added concentration explained our PBs....
