18 degrees. Overcast but dry. Breezy around Cardiff Bay.

Report

Flat and fast. Two laps of the half-marathon route, ending with a circuit inside the Millennium Stadium. Good course for spectators. Combined start for Marathon (1,272 runners) and Half Marathon (5,783 runners), with no obvious pace segregation, but the field opened up fairly quickly. Gun to chip and chip to chip results published within 24 hours.
