Report
"This is a scenic course through the Kent countryside, much of it on farm tracks, as the mud-spattered legs of the finishers testified. Two testing hills, but with lots of downhill and long flat stretches to compensate make this a race where pbs are possible. The ford at around the six mile mark was dry this year and the course had been altered to iron out the quirky bit at 8 miles which had competitors racing up a long hill, doing a U-turn round a police-cone and running down the other side of the road! Friendly marshalling, oranges, bananas and plenty of bottled water at the finish and for the first time, chip-timing. Recommended."
