Conditions were hot and muggy. As this is an open road race it felt at times like running an obstacle course: sharp and/or blind turns, lots of confused tourists and angry commuters, up and down stairs. Generally well organised but the queue for the lavatory was long. No obligation to wear provided cotton t-shirt during race.
