Leading Runs and Cycle Rides

Every week we need people to lead group runs on Wedneday evenings and Saturday mornings, as well as lead our regular weekend cycle rides. You don't need any experience to do this, just a bit of enthusiasm and the motivation to get people going!

Can't find a group that suits you?

Many Serpies also arrange group runs on other days and use the Serpies Facebook group to get in touch with runners wanting run similar paces and distances. So if you can't find a group run that suits you, start one yourself!

Taking it further

If you regularly lead run or cycle groups the club can support you by arranging and paying for you to attend first aid training, or one of the nationally recognised courses in 'Jog Leaders' or 'Fitness in Running and Walking'. This latter qualification enables you to progress to Level 2 of the UK Athletics coaching structure, should you want to progress your qualifications.
