Pubs Local to the Seymour Centre

On Wednesday evenings in particular, many Serpies go to one of the local pubs to re-hydrate, have something to eat and chat with others. There are far too many of us for one pub to cope so we spread out to two or three. These are the current favourites.

Royal Oak

1. The Royal Oak

74-76 York Street,
London, W1H 1QN

The Royal Oak (formerly The Temperance) re-opened in July 2014. It has real beer, a good choice of wine and food from Burgershack. Website

The Wargrave Arms

2. The Lord Wargrave

40-42 Brendon Street,
London, W1H 5HE

Just along from the Larrik, it has real beer, a good choice of wine and lagers and decent food. Website

The Larrik

3. The Larrik

32 Crawford Place
London, W1H 5NN

Probably the closest pub to the Seymour, it has real beer, a good choice of wine and lagers, decent food and big screen sports. It can get very busy with "football" crowds on Wednesdays. Website

The Victory

4. The Victory

4 Brendon St
London, W1H 5HE

Reasonable food, lager and wine but no real ale. Service can be slow.
