Pubs Local to the Seymour Centre
On Wednesday evenings in particular, many Serpies go to one of the local pubs to re-hydrate, have something to eat and chat with others. There are far too many of us for one pub to cope so we spread out to two or three. These are the current favourites.

1. The Victory
4 Brendon St Most Serpies go here and it can get very busy. Reasonable food, lager and wine but no real ale. |
|
|
2. The Windsor Castle
27-29 Crawford Place Once the main Serpie pub, it is quite small but always seems to cope. Excellent Thai food and a choice of real ales. |
|
|
3. The Larrik
32 Crawford Place Probably the closest pub to the Seymour, it has real beer, a good choice of wine and lagers, decent food and big screen sports. It can get very busy with "football" crowds on Wednesdays. |

4. The Wargrave Arms
40-42 Brendon Street, Just along from the Larrik and opposite the Windsor Castle, it has real beer, a good choice of wine and lagers and decent food. Serpies always avoided it because it was too smokey but since the smoking ban its now a good alternative choice. |

5. The Duke of York
