British Triathlon National Club Relay Championships
The national club relay triathlon championships are held every year near Nottingham at the National Watersports Centre. It is a very special race and is always one of the big events for Serpentine each season. The race has a unique format with teams of four taking it in turns to complete each leg. When all 4 have completed the 400m swim, they then move to a 15k bike and finish with a 5k run.
It's the location and atmosphere that really make
this race: you can see the whole swim, most of the bike and much of the
run from the stands. With the women and mixed teams racing in the morning and the men in the afternoon you have a whole day of great spectating
and racing while you soak up a really quite special atmosphere.
