Poppy Lenton

BTF Level 2

Experience and Achievements

Poppy started triathlon in Singapore in 2005 after returning from a run to suggest to then flatmate doing a triathlon as a relay, to a response of, no, we can both do the whole thing. So with the challenge set and a bike bought the first triathlon was duly completed and the triathlon journey began! Since then she has completed many triathlon races from sprint to most recently the long distance Outlaw race, along with fellow members of the 2014/2015 Long Distance Squad. She has also completed numerous marathons, including 2nd lady at the inaugural Sierra Leone Marathon and 1st lady in the Lakeland 50 mile ultra marathon.

Poppy particularly enjoys outdoor swimming and can regularly be seen at the Serpentine Lake enjoying an early morning dip.

Having previously been on the Serpentine committee as Social Secretary she has now turned to coaching and has now gained her Level 2 triathlon qualification.
