Committee – Race Organisation & Promotion
Overview
The role of the Race Organisation & Promotion representative on the Committee is to organise or oversee all club internal races and races open to other runners organised by the club.

General duties and responsibilities
The role does not require the person to do the entire organisation as other people should be assigned to be Race Directors. However, the committee member should have an overview of all the races, so he/she can fill in when the organising person, for example the handicap team, is not available.
Committee links
- Competition & Team Events rep to decide on Club Championship races and work with various captains to arrange home matches for the different leagues
- Accomodation & Facilities rep to arrange track bookings etc. for races
- Officials Coordinator to ensure appropriate qualified officials are available at each event
