Committee – Race Organisation
Overview
The role of the Race Organisation representative on the Committee is to oversee the organisation of all club internal races and races open to other runners organised by the club.

- Last Friday of the Month 5k
- New Year's Day 10k
- Jekyll & Hyde Park Duathlon (if held)
- Handicap
- Track & Field - Southern Athletics League / SCVAC / Rosenheim home matches
- Metropolitan XC League home match (if held)
- Summer League home race
- Summer Grand Prix
General duties and responsibilities
The role does not require the person to do the entire organisation as other people should be assigned to be Race Directors. However, the committee member should have an overview of all the races, so he/she can fill in when the organising person, for example the handicap team, is not available.
Committee links
- Technical Lead to decide on club championship races, club championship races and home athletics meetings
- Triathlon Rep to decide on club championship races and the J&H duathlon
- Honorary Treasurer to arrange track bookings etc. for races and to help manage race / event sponsers
