Well we had a good finish to August with a dozen Serpies merrily charging up and down Ivinghoe Beacon on a fine bank holiday! Here are a couple more opportunities for social trail runs. Both are easily accessible from London by public transport and both aim for an inclusive, sociable pace, suitable for anyone who can run for the nominated distance:

Sat 10 Sep (next Sat) - Green Belt Recce stage 18

James has now reached the iconic Merstham to Box Hill stage on his tour of the Green Belt route. Undoubtedly one of the scenic highlights of the round, this stage finishes right on the top of Box Hill. The distance is approx. 9 miles. If interested in joining this run, please drop James a line on mailto:jedgar262@gmail.com

Sat 17 Sep - Berkhamsted - Windmill route

A new 14 mile circular route from Berkhamsted, with a newly Serpie approved cafe at the finish. Featuring expansive views of the Chiltern countryside and passing through the village of Cholesbury with its windmill. Quite hilly, but steep hills are allowed to be walked up. More details the week before.
