Clarendon Relays

Mixed teams required to defend serpie titles!
For the last couple of years Serpies had a fun day out and great success at the Clarendon Way Relays. Our teams came 1st and 2nd, we broke the course record (2003) and came before the first marathoner for the first time in the event's history. Last year Jamie Felix also won the Half-Marathon. We would like to defend our titles this year and I am organising teams for the event.

The event takes place on Sunday, 2nd October along the historic
Clarendon Way route, mostly off-road, between Winchester and Salisbury. It is a beautiful and challenging, undulating course.

We will enter a number of relay teams at all levels, you can also
participate in the half or full marathon with lots of Serpie support.

The relay teams require 4 runners (only mixed teams accepted) who run about 9-12k each. More information about the event at:

We would like to come with one strong winning team. How about a competition between runners and triathletes?

Let me know if you would like to participate and give me your 10k time so that I can put the teams together by strength. If you have a full team, let me know so that we can register you. We will organise transport and registration.

I hope we will turn up in full force.
