Medals for Serpentine teams at the London marathon
Our women's team won the gold medal in the England Athletics Marathon Championship yesterday, held as part of the London Marathon, and our men's team won bronze silver.
Congratulations to our women's team of Helen Gaunt (2:49:43), Leanne Harling (2:54:17, pictured at right) and Victoria Crawford (2:54:45) who won the gold medal in the England Athletics Marathon Championship yesterday ahead of Dulwich and London Heathside.
Well done also to Jonathan Poole (2:22:58), David Morgan (2:28:24) and Damien Petitjean (2:32:56) who won the bronze medal in the men's race, behind Kent. (Team results have been updated to move the men up to silver.)
