|Course Description:||Goes narrow soon after the start. Winds through rough fields, then woods including a steep uphill and steep downhill, before returning around field to the start.|
Underground: Woodford station (Central Line). If coming from the Stratford direction, cross under the subway to join Snakes Lane East. Turn left into Chigwell Road. The Ashton Playing Fields clubhouse is on your left. From the clubhouse to the course, turn right at the traffic lights up Gaynes Hill Rd.
Bus: 275 from Walthamstow to Woodford Bridge. W14 from Leyton and Leytonstone to Woodford Bridge.
|Parking:||At Ashton Playing Fields. There is plenty of parking available at Ashton and would appreciate it if no one parks at the course as we don't want to antagonize the local residents|
|Directions from major roads:||Take the A406 and exit onto the slip road A1400 and then at the Charlie Brown roundabout the the first exit onto the A113 Chigwell Road. Then proceed past the junctions of Broadmead Road & Snakes Lane east and under the M11, and then take the first left which is Ashton Playing fields.|

Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your race, to give you time to collect your race number.
Refreshments will be available in the clubhouse afterwards.
No toilets on the course.
