Summer Grand Prix race series

The summer grand prix is almost upon us. Time for some fun racing for Serpies only, from 1k to 5k!

The summer grand prix is a part of the overall club championship series so each race counts towards that, but also has its own trophy for the fastest man, woman and age-graded Serpie across the four races. All the races are free to enter (although you may need to pay a track fee at Paddington - to be confirmed) and are open to Serpies only.

Also...

While I have your attention on the subject of shorter races, if you'd like another opportunity to race 1 mile on the track, Ben Pochee from Highgate Harriers is organising the Soar Mile at Battersea Track on 20th July. The aim is to have up to 10 races and is designed to welcome runners of all abilities to race the iconic distance, claim their very own Mile PB and then savour watching some of the fastest go head to head for the £1,000 prize fund (£500 to the fastest man & fastest woman).
