England Athletics Athlete Registration due

It's time to renew your annual registration and race licence with England Athletics. Current licences expire on 31st March. Anyone who plans to compete in UK Athletics licensed road races or county, regional and national cross country races, or track & field competitions in 2016-17 needs to register for a race licence with England Athletics. Buy your 2016-17 licence in Serpiebase.

It's time to pay your 2016-17 England Athletics registration and competition licence fee. Payments via Serpiebase are due by 1 April, please.

The 2016-17 competition licence year begins on 1 April and all first claim members need to pay for their England Athletics registration and competition licence fee. The cost is £13.  You can pay online by logging into the Serpentine membership database (serpiebase) and clicking on "Register with England Athletics" on the left hand column. Second claim members are registered through their first claim club - so do not register via Serpentine if you are second claim.

You must have a Competition Licence in order to take part in any UK Athletics licenced competition.  This includes most road races as well as cross country, track and field, race walking and fell running competitions.

Please register as soon as possible. Payments for the 2016-17 year are being taken now and the funds, along with your registration details, will be passed on to England Athletics on or shortly after 1 April.  The registration year runs to 31 March 2017.

If you are registering for the first time, England Athletics will issue your Competition Licence in late May. Those people who are renewing need to keep their existing Licence.

Your Competition Licence number will be added to your Serpiebase membership record once we have completed the registration process.
