Another Clean(ish) Sweep At St Neots
Serpentine had another great year at the ever popular St Neots Half Marathon last Sunday ...
Special mention to Simon Barrett who came 2nd overall and Karen Hancock who came 2nd V45.
Almost everybody who ran also got a PB on this fabulous figure of 8 course along deserted country lanes, even though there are a couple of hills (or rather the same hill at the crossover, climbed twice). Marshalling and organisation was superb; weather was cold and crispy but sunny - ideal for running; pub was hot and snug with a fireplace - ideal for drinking; long sleeved T-shirts were even better than at Cabbage Patch; (but penknives were ludicrously small!).
Full Serpie results are in the results database.
