Fantastic results for Serpie women in SEAA Aldershot relays

The Serpie women's A team came 7th in the SEAA autumn road relays, qualifying for the Nationals in 4 week's time.

Serpentine were represented by two teams in Aldershot today to run in the autumn road relays: 4x 3.8km of undulating tarmac against the best female runners in the south of England. 49 women's teams competed and our A team came an impressive 7th, an improvement of 30
places and about 9 mins from last year, and easily qualifying for the National road relays in October, where they will get the chance to race the best runners from the whole of Britain.

Our A team's results were:

Emma Calderbank 13:35

Our B team: Lucy Hancock, Lynne Maughan, Karen Hancock & Sarah Edmunds came 38th. We were unable to field a vet's team.
