Serpie Planner - event reports

Swansea Bay 10k (27 Sep 2009)

It was a great race with just under 3000 runners taking part. The council have done this for quite a few years now and have got the organisation down pat. It is very well marshalled and the course is flat apart from two slight inclines. This year the weather certainly favoured the runners as there was hardly a breeze and it was overcast, so not too hot or cold. There was also a good bit of support along the majority of the route, mostly people out for a stroll on a nice Sunday afternoon.
