One-to-one coach nights at the Seymour Centre

Serpies are offered the chance to pop in for a brief one-to-one chat with a Serpentine run coach about their training schedule. This will give runners the chance to ask a coach any questions they may have about their run training

Congratulations to the Serpies who are listed in the Athletics Weekly UK Masters Rankings for 2016.

Alan Woodward

It is with great sadness that we have to report the loss of one of Serpentine's long-standing members. Alan Woodward passed away before Christmas at the age of 86.

Marathon Training Seminars

I'm pleased to announce that we will be holding two marathon seminars early in the new year that will be aimed at those targeting a spring marathon. Sign up for both is now open.

Delay in issuing membership cards over the New Year

The business that prints our membership cards and joining packs is closed over the New Year. The next posting of cards will not be before Monday, 16 January.

2017 Club Championships

A return to the traditional format for endurance runners and some new awards for track and field athletes. The club championships give Serpies the chance to race against each other to find the best Serpentine member over the various distances and disciplines, and to create a bit of friendly intra-club rivalry!

England Athletics London Region have announced a number of additional courses for those wishing to train as a coach or official.
